If you are looking for something special, unique and exceptional Platia tavern is the best choice and ideal to fulfill your expectations. All dishes are very finest and made of local products. The wine and the raki (called strofilia in Greek) made from Dimitri's vineyards. You will realize immediately that in this restaurant the traditional cuisine cannot characterized as a touristic place as it crosses even the narrow geographic limits of Naxos.

Platia restaurant opens its doors and welcome you in a friendly and warm enviroment all the "hungry" visitors who wants to experience something special and unique. Choose one of our fabulous traditional dishes which are made from local products.

Traditional Greek cuisine at its finest

Simply put, Top. Local ingredients prepared and cooked with ‘meraki’. We spent about two weeks in Naxos and we chose this place for our dinner daily. During the busy August month this place and the village of Galini are like an oasis. Their menu consists of a curated selection and is updated daily - although some staple dishes seem to be always available. I wouldn’t call out anything specific out of the menu as it was all delicious. Having said that, their portokalopita (orange pie) was the best I’ve had.

Amazing homemade food

If you are looking to experience amazing food taste of Naxos and the real taste of Greek homemade food it’s the right place. All dishes are simple in look, but as you try you feel in heaven. It’s melted in the mouth and you cannot stand to try more. I took a few dishes to try. Guys it’s was amazing😋 as every dish has perfectly selected spices and herbs wich make a perfect taste and smell. I absolutely will back there one day and take a Cousine lesson which are there as well, highly recommend! Hugs and kisses from Poland to Cooking Mama ;-)

The best tavern in Naxos

We have been here with good friends during vacation. What an amazing experience !! The food is original, strictly local and very well cooked. Highly recommended, a must see in Naxos !!
